Robin Miles, M.Ed.
Certified Parent Coach

For 25 years, I was a classroom teacher for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.  During that time, I worked closely with hundreds of amazing families and gained a unique perspective on child learning and development.

I’ve witnessed firsthand how modern society presents parents with monumental challenges.  I feel strongly that nobody should have to navigate them alone.

That is why my passion has shifted from kids to parents.  I believe that honoring both the children’s developmental stages and the parents’ needs is how everyone in the family feels seen, respected, and able to thrive.  Instead of fighting a problem from opposite sides, families can learn how to effectively solve it together.

As a certified parent coach, I’m here to give you the guidance and encouragement you need to:

  • Parent the way you know your children deserve to be parented.

  • Protect your family values without sacrificing your sanity.

  • Find a happier way through your real, everyday struggles.

Certifications

Jai Institute for Parenting Parent Coach Certification

My certification through the Jai Institute completely transformed my understanding of parenting and ignited my passion for supporting other families.  I only wish I had discovered these effective and practical approaches when my own kids were young and during my years in the classroom.

Arizona State Teaching Certificate - birth-8th grade

I am certified by the state of Arizona to teach children from birth through 8th grade.  I also have an early childhood endorsement, and a current Arizona fingerprint clearance card.

NAU Master of Education - Human Relations

Completing my master’s degree in human relations at Northern Arizona University was a deliberate step toward my next chapter: working with adults after retiring from teaching.  Studying within the educational psychology department allowed me to deepen my understanding of how people from diverse backgrounds learn, connect, and interact throughout their lives.
